cRITERIA:

  • Hmong Youth (Under 18 years old)

  • Hmong Young Adult (18-30 years old)

  • Must be original or created by the artist (NO AI PERMITTED)

  • Related to mental health and focused on one’s healing journey.

Benefits:

  • Art will be displayed at the Hmong Mental Health Summit.

  • Photo, bio, and description of art will be included in the program.

  • Photos, bios, and descriptions of the artist will be shared on our social media.

  • Artist will have the opportunity to share an intimate fireside chat with the keynote speaker.

  • Lodging will be provided.

hOW TO SUBMIT:

Email projectresiliency@wucmaa.org including:

  • A photo of the artist along with a portfolio that states:

    • Full name

    • Location

    • Age

    • How would you describe yourself as an artist?

  • A photo of your artwork if it’s a physical piece or a digital file if your artwork is in a non-physical format with the name of your artwork.

  • A description of your artwork written in 2 paragraphs (250-300 words) that answers the following questions:

    • How did you make this artwork?

    • Why did you make this artwork?

    • What does this artwork mean to you?

    • How does it represent your mental health and healing journey?
