EVENTS

Meet our Brown County Coordinator:

As a Project Resiliency Mental Health Coordinator, I work with the Hmong and Southeast Asian (SEA) community to achieve excellent well-being. I help them develop mechanisms for protection against experiences that could be overwhelming, help them maintain balance in their lives during difficult times and stressful situations. I provide guides to protect themselves from the development of some mental health difficulties and issues, so they can gain and regain control over their lives.

Key Services:

To help Hmong/SEA people connect to mental health resources.

To help them build support and networks that they can rely on when times get stressful or challenging.

To create a safe space to talk about how they are doing, share experiences, strengths, challenges, lifestyles, and resources including cultural and environmental supports, needs, and priorities.

To help them build confidence, trust, and healthy relationships.

To provide peer-support, stress and depression management, and improve on their decision-making skills.
