Meet our Wood County & Marathon County Coordinator:

My name is Bee Lor and I am from the Wood County area. My current work as a Project Resiliency Coordinator I serve communities from Central WI addressing mental health through local programming and services.

I worked with the WCHealth Department previously with educating and outreaching on Covid for underserved communities primarily the Hmong Community as a Community Health Worker. Before that I was a Wellness Director, Clerk, and Supervisor at an assisted living for 15 years. Some skills I gained through that time are teamwork, adaptability, advocacy, and leadership.

I enjoy drawing and coloring. I get to express myself through my artwork and share with others. Long drives are what I love the most to ease my mind through stressful times. Collaborating and building relationships is what I hope to achieve when meeting new people. Through the work I do I get to continue helping people in any way I can and it has always been a passion of mine to help others. I hope to be able to bridge the gap in getting mental health into the Hmong community with my workshops and programs, also to be knowledgeable enough of effective resources that are available to our communities.

Bee Lor is a staff of WUCMAA’s member, Hmong American Center (HAC), who is working in partnership for our Project Resiliency team.
